From September 17th to 19th, the 14th China Scientists Forum was held at the Beijing Convention Center. More than 800 scientists, technology managers, technology experts and entrepreneurs from all over the country attended the conference. The senior engineer of the company's chairman Li Yiqian was invited to attend.


Former State Councilor, Vice Chairman of the 11th National People's Congress, Chairman of the China Association of Old Scientists and Technicians Chen Zhili, Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wang Zhizhen, former Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Zhu Lilan, Deputy of the Social and Legal Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Director Zhang Shiping, deputy director of the National Committee of the CPPCC Population Resources and Environment, Tao Yuanxing, president of China Technology Market Association, and famous scientist Chen Jiaxuan, Academician Wu Cheng, Academician Han Boxing, Academician Du Xiangxuan, Academician Zhu Gaofeng attended the opening ceremony.


 During the meeting, Academician Wu Cheng and Academician Han Buxing exchanged views with Chairman Li. Both academicians expressed their concern about the development of Weiyuan Enterprises and will support them when needed. Wang Zhiguo, former vice chairman of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, met with Li Dong 20 years ago. The meeting was very kind.

Chairman Li’s “green products, green manufacturing” at the group meeting---the actual performance and future role of cold-rolled screw products were well received. The paper submitted by the company to the conference "Development of CNC drilling and milling method and numerical control device for train car top" was selected as the second prize of excellent papers.
